Platinum Philately has been active on the international philatelic market since the autumn of 2005 and it has also served the eBay philatelic community for almost four and a half years under the ID the_stamps_lover, establishing a truly impeccable reputation both in terms of customer service and the integrity of prices realised.
We specialise in worldwide classic philately with a particularly strong emphasis on rarities and items of exceptional quality, which are almost always accompanied by certificates of authenticity from the most reputable experts in their areas of expertise. Our main focus is on single lots of stamps and postal history, as we feel this is the most honest approach to commercial philately and the best way to prove proper, profound philatelic knowledge, thus offering customers that one essential guarantee we all look for in philately: confidence. Customer satisfaction, the accuracy of descriptions and the integrity of the entire bidding process are all sacrosanct to us.
Besides our previous eBay activity, we have always been very active in private dealing, travelling extensively across Europe for most of the year and striving to serve our clients in the best possible way. We offer personalised service according to the different philatelic interests of our clients and we aim to develop and maintain a close philatelic relationship with each of them. Absolute discretion is the first of our priorities and duties as well, in respect to the relationship we have with clients and business partners alike.
Platinum Philately is currently in the process of incorporating in Switzerland (being temporarily based in Romania) and editing printed catalogues for future auctions is one of its immediate objectives. At the moment, we aim to hold at least 4 to 6 auctions per year. For those requesting them, plenty of strong commercial references are always available.
